    Anti-Cheating Detection Framework

    Effective Date: February 2026

Technical, procedural, and enforcement mechanisms ensuring integrity in digital gameplay, tournaments, and ranking systems.

    Purpose

This Framework establishes the technical, procedural, and enforcement mechanisms used by Biciid Center to ensure integrity in digital gameplay, tournaments, and ranking systems.

Traditional games represent intellectual heritage. Integrity in competition protects cultural dignity.

    Scope

    This framework applies to:

    • Shax (primary competitive game)
    • All ranked games
    • Tournament play
    • AI vs Human modes (where rankings apply)
    • Multiplayer matchmaking
    • ELO-based ladder systems

    Definitions

Cheating includes, but is not limited to:

    • Use of external AI engines during live matches
    • Assistance from third parties
    • Exploiting system bugs
    • Manipulating match outcomes
    • Intentional disconnections to avoid loss
    • Multi-account ranking manipulation
    • Collusion between players
    • Automated scripting or bots

    Detection Architecture

Biciid Center implements a layered detection system:

    A. Behavioral Pattern Analysis — Move timing irregularities, unnatural consistency, sudden rating spikes, pattern deviation from historical performance.

    B. Statistical Engine Correlation — Comparison of player moves against AI engine recommendations, match similarity scoring, probability modeling of move optimality.

    C. Account Pattern Monitoring — IP clustering detection, device fingerprint analysis, account creation timing, win-loss reciprocity detection.

    D. Match Integrity Signals — Repeated suspicious disconnects, abnormal reconnection timing, patterned forfeit behavior.

    AI-Assisted Cheating Detection

    Automated systems may:

    • Flag matches with high AI move similarity
    • Identify improbable performance variance
    • Detect coordinated collusion patterns

Flagging does not equal guilt. All high-risk cases require human review.

    Risk Classification Levels

    • Low Suspicion — Minor irregularity → Monitor
    • Moderate Suspicion — Repeated abnormal patterns → Review
    • High Suspicion — Strong statistical AI correlation → Investigation
    • Critical — Confirmed engine usage or collusion → Enforcement

    Investigation Protocol

    When a player is flagged:

    • Match logs are reviewed
    • Timing data is analyzed
    • Statistical deviation is measured
    • Human moderator review is conducted
    • Player may be contacted for clarification

Due process is required before enforcement.

    Enforcement Actions

    Depending on severity:

    • Warning
    • Rating rollback
    • Match nullification
    • Temporary competitive suspension
    • Tournament disqualification
    • Permanent ban

Titles and awards obtained through cheating may be revoked.

    Appeal Mechanism

Players may appeal within 7 days. Appeals must:

    • Address the specific allegation
    • Remain respectful
    • Provide relevant context

Repeated frivolous appeals may result in sanctions.

    Cultural Protection Clause

Cheating damages not only competition but cultural heritage. Biciid Center treats cheating as a breach of intellectual and ethical integrity.

    Continuous Improvement

    The detection system will:

    • Evolve with AI capabilities
    • Integrate statistical modeling updates
    • Improve anomaly detection
    • Incorporate global best practices

    Integrity protection is ongoing.

    Protecting Heritage Through Integrity

Cheating undermines heritage. Fair competition honors it. Biciid Center protects both competitive excellence and cultural integrity.
